An AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) of synthetic origin, which is also extracted from grapes, rosemary, sugar beet or sugar cane juice. It exfoliates, promotes skin renewal, refines the skin texture and can reduce fine lines and pigmentation spots. It also strengthens the skin barrier by stabilizing the skin's pH value.

When used correctly, acids gently remove dead and keratinized skin cells, promote epidermal renewal and stimulate collagen formation. The highly concentrated Derma SR acid peels require precise adjustment to individual skin needs. Trained specialists adapt the application time to the individual customer (3 to 5 minutes).
The peeling is applied to cleansed skin with a brush. During the application phase, the specialist remains present to observe the skin reactions. The acid is then neutralized with the pH neutralizer and the residue is removed with lukewarm water. In the event of severe skin reactions such as intense redness or excessive heat development during the exposure time, neutralization should be carried out immediately, followed by thorough rinsing with cool water. The skin usually regenerates quickly. After each treatment, it is essential to protect the skin from sunlight for several days with UV Skin Protection Cream.
